  • Recognizing a Viable Project
When identifying project opportunities, the systems analyst is looking for potential clients who have problems or opportunities that can be addressed by systems solutions. Projects are more urgent and compelling when they align with stated business strategies or programs that further those strategies. Potential clients who have access to power and money are more likely to get the backing of the organization for their project. When speaking with potential clients, what kinds of questions could the systems analyst ask them in order to assess the viability of their project opportunity?
