Class Discussion Prep
  • What do project managers do before the project starts?
As we know from the readings, there is plenty for project managers to do in the time before the project actually starts. What thoughts do you have about how you might prepare to contribute during this part of the process? We will break out into groups to discuss. Then, we will debrief the exercise as a larger group.
  • A further project selection and team formation breakout session
I will organize a sequence of breakout sessions in which you will get a chance to meet with other students to discuss possible projects and team collaborations. Here are some of the questions to think about before these sessions start. Do you have any candidates in mind for clients and projects? What kind of project would you like to work on? What skills do you bring to the project that you have already developed? What new skills would you like to try out?

Friday, September 8   (3:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M., Zoom)
